The team at HIA worked together in the same organizations and some as vendor collaborations to design, build and operate one of the largest ambulatory cloud networks in Canada. Linking 18,000 healthcare providers, 56 diagnostic labs and 42 hospitals to manage the record of over 12 million patients, built around the concept of “One Patient – One Record”. The Network started in 2004 and continued to grow until its sale to Telus Health in 2016.

The Team Managed and Operated the Systems as a “For Profit” Membership Fee Model.
The HIA team built and operate a claims processing clearing house in the United States, connecting 220 insurance companies to over 6,000 healthcare providers through a centralized clearing house processing over $4 billion of healthcare claims annually.
The team at HIA partnered with the government of Nova Scotia, Canada, the team at HIA help design and build an operate a centralize health information network, linking 1,000 healthcare facilities to labs, hospital and payers driving automation and collaboration of critical patient data delivering on the vision of the government
